★8th Star☆ [Video|Action]
[The bright sun, blue sky, even the odd cloud dotted here and there. Whoever is holding the journal is doing a pretty good job of capturing the good weather right now.]
After all the rain and wind last week it's this sort of sunshine that really makes Fuuko think of summer.
[The journal soon pulls back to show that the sky is being recorded through a massive hole in the roof of one of house 26's upstairs bedrooms.]
However Fuuko really does not want to enjoy summer whilst still being inside like this! Most of the water has dried away or has been mopped up but this thing is still here! Even if Fuuko was low on money and couldn't afford AC this would be a very extreme solution. And even then money isn't a problem so why is this hole still here?!
[Normally these things see to themselves, but nope. Still a hole. The bedroom is still a complete wreck too, with debris and bits of glass and the door frame scattered about all over.]
If anyone knows anything about fixing things like this then Fuuko would appreciate a little of your time. Fuuko will even prepare something to give to your for your trouble, something very delicious!
[Oh, and quickly adding in at the end--]
Also, Fuuko hopes everyone who went into space returned home safely! If you all want something delicious too then please come to house 26, there's going to be more than enough for anyone who wants some. Fuuko will make sure of that!
[Action]
[The 'something very delicious' Fuuko was referring to is starfish shaped bread. Giant loaves of it. There's only so much of the stuff she can make before she needs more ingredients though so she's out around the village to pick up some more.
... But she couldn't just leave all the bread she had recently baked alone in the house. Even if Kotomi and Nagisa are there who knows what could come through that hole in the roof! As such, Fuuko is carrying a bag of freshly baked starfish bread around with her. Don't you just love the smell of bread that's just come out of the oven? It's still a little warm too!]

But, standing and watching her do all the work is nice, too, even if he almost feels like she shouldn't now... maybe because it reminds him of those old habits, but he's not really thinking about that.]
[Action]
That should do it. The bread should hopefully be cool enough now if you want to try one Beast-san. If it's not then please don't burn your tongue.
[Action]
Ow! Ow! Too hot! Too hot! He should be hiding the pain better but he's not, making a bit of a panicky sort of noise as he opens his mouth and pants to try and cool it down. Oh mon Dieu that hurts the tongue. Ow. Ow. Alright, he can chew and swallow now. The... texture is nice. He thinks. He's not sure about the taste, it was too hot.]
[Action]
Since Beast looks as though he's quite a bit of pain, Fuuko rushes to fetch a glass and fill it with water to give to him.]
Fuuko did warn you not to burn yourself! It was the heat that made you react like that and not the taste though, right? Fuuko really hopes so!
[Action]
[He would take another bite to see what it's like without the heat... but he's not sure if it's still too hot. He'll just wait a bit.]
[Action]
[And that would have been pretty damn awful if it were the latter.
Anyway, nudging the glass of water towards Beast.]
If you drink some water then it should help the pain go away. When you have a burn it helps to put something cool on it.
[She read that in a medical text and everything whilst on a draft. Such an awesome medic.]
[Action]
But he does take the water and drinks it down immediately, maybe a little too fast but his tongue at least feels less numb. Alright... breathe, put down the glass, and prepare to speak.]
Th-th... thank you.
[Action]
[The aspiring medic inside of her wanted Beast to know that.
Once Beast feels like he can manage it then she's expecting him to attempt another bite. You know, just to confirm that the bread was just to hot.]
[Action]
Alright, let's try this again. He takes another bite from the same star point - the first thing he notices is the fluffiness, which he already knows is a good thing. The crust is nice and sweet, firm but not too hard... all just the way he likes it. The reaction this time is much slower and less dramatic, but the smile on his face makes it obvious what he thinks... if not for the words he's muffling through the munching.]
Ish dellishish!
[Action]
[Cheering, arms in the air, woo!]
That's great, Fuuko is glad to know Fuuko got the recipe down! Make sure not to talk with your mouthful the next time someone asks you if something tastes good though, Beast-san.
[Action]
Th-thank you.
[Action]
[Action]
[His smile widens. Bringing home tasty fluffy homemade bread from Foo-ko? Sounds delicious!]
[Action]
[Without even waiting for a reply she's already off and looking for something to put the bread in.]
[Action]
[But he is already alone in the room. With the bread. He'll just... have some more of the one he's holding, he doesn't mind.]
[Action]
Fuuko thought this would be good to carry the bread in, even if you're not planning to go on a picnic or anything like that. It will still hold the bread properly.

[A soft smile before he looks up at the mentioned roof.] It's strange that it's still... there. [The hole he means.]
[Action]
[This is what she gets for becoming reliant on magical shifting roof repair. Tsk.]
[Action]
Th... thank you again f-for the bread.
[He is about to turn to leave, but then thinks better of it.] If... if I can help you with it... I-I'm always around.
[Action]
[Action]
[He means "me neither"... but he did mention before he came that he doesn't know much about fixing things. But he said he would help, so help he will.] I w-will try.
