[The bright sun, blue sky, even the odd cloud dotted here and there. Whoever is holding the journal is doing a pretty good job of capturing the good weather right now.]

After all the rain and wind last week it's this sort of sunshine that really makes Fuuko think of summer.

[The journal soon pulls back to show that the sky is being recorded through a massive hole in the roof of one of house 26's upstairs bedrooms.]

However Fuuko really does not want to enjoy summer whilst still being inside like this! Most of the water has dried away or has been mopped up but this thing is still here! Even if Fuuko was low on money and couldn't afford AC this would be a very extreme solution. And even then money isn't a problem so why is this hole still here?!

[Normally these things see to themselves, but nope. Still a hole. The bedroom is still a complete wreck too, with debris and bits of glass and the door frame scattered about all over.]

If anyone knows anything about fixing things like this then Fuuko would appreciate a little of your time. Fuuko will even prepare something to give to your for your trouble, something very delicious!

[Oh, and quickly adding in at the end--]

Also, Fuuko hopes everyone who went into space returned home safely! If you all want something delicious too then please come to house 26, there's going to be more than enough for anyone who wants some. Fuuko will make sure of that!

[The 'something very delicious' Fuuko was referring to is starfish shaped bread. Giant loaves of it. There's only so much of the stuff she can make before she needs more ingredients though so she's out around the village to pick up some more.

... But she couldn't just leave all the bread she had recently baked alone in the house. Even if Kotomi and Nagisa are there who knows what could come through that hole in the roof! As such, Fuuko is carrying a bag of freshly baked starfish bread around with her. Don't you just love the smell of bread that's just come out of the oven? It's still a little warm too!]

It's okay! If you would like to take some home with you then Fuuko thinks it will be okay. As long as you leave a few for Fuuko and Fuuko's friends that live here then it should be okay.

Yes, it will! Fuuko can probably find a bag to put them in too, then you won't have to carry them all squashed up in your arms.

[Without even waiting for a reply she's already off and looking for something to put the bread in.]

[But he is already alone in the room. With the bread. He'll just... have some more of the one he's holding, he doesn't mind.]

[Aaand she's back with a picnic basket of all thing.]

Fuuko thought this would be good to carry the bread in, even if you're not planning to go on a picnic or anything like that. It will still hold the bread properly.

I... [At first hesitant as he tries to figure out which paw will take the basket, he solves the problem by putting the bread in it so both of them could hold.] Thank you. It... it's alright to t-take more?

Yes, as Fuuko said take what you want but leave some for Nagisa-san and Kotomi-chan. [So take what you want dude. She's happy to know someone is enjoying her bread enough to ask to take more.]

[A smile crawls onto his face - as much of Foo-ko's homemade bread as he wants!] Thank you! [He peers carefully at the selection and takes a few for himself... just enough to fill the basket, leaving plenty of loaves for everyone in the house.]

It's no problem at all! [Smile!] If you like them a lot then Fuuko won't mind baking some more, though Fuuko would like to wait until the roof is better before then.

[A soft smile before he looks up at the mentioned roof.] It's strange that it's still... there. [The hole he means.]

It is, that's why Fuuko ended up asking for help in the first place. Fuuko would normally not bother worrying about this sort of thing but it has been some time now and roof is still the same.

[This is what she gets for becoming reliant on magical shifting roof repair. Tsk.]

[He is about to turn to leave, but then thinks better of it.] If... if I can help you with it... I-I'm always around.

Really? Do you think you could really help out with Fuuko's roof problem somehow? [Happy days!] Fuuko would be more than happy to have someone help, especially as Fuuko knows very little when it comes to a roof.

[He means "me neither"... but he did mention before he came that he doesn't know much about fixing things. But he said he would help, so help he will.] I w-will try.

[She's not really expecting a proper fix-up job, but having time to think it over made her realise having someone try something to at least block the hole is better than just having a hole.

Unless Beast somehow makes things worse. But she has faith that he won't!]

When Fuuko compares Fuuko to Beast-san, Fuuko can easily tell that Beast-san would be a much better person for this sort of job.

B-better? [Well, looking at the two of them... yes, he is much bigger and probably stronger.] A... alright.

[He still feels unsure... what experience does he have? But Fuuko needs the help. Fuuko is counting on him.]

On the journals earlier, Fuuko had a lot of suggestions for how to fix it. It seems a tarp would be a good idea. [Nod nod.] Are you experienced with tarps more than you are with Fuuko's roof?

[Suddenly, her confidence in Beast's roof fixing skill has been shaken.]

Fuuko believes it's a large cover that can be tied down. It reminds Fuuko of a tent in a way.
