[So far with the way things are around the village at the moment, Fuuko has been doing a pretty good job of avoiding all the weird and wonderful things that have been popping up, save for someone creeping into her bedroom and getting into bed with her during the night but it could always be worse. And oh boy is it about to get worse.

Having gotten out of bed and stepped out of her bedroom, Fuuko has found herself transported to the beach along with her journal. An annoyance to some, sure, seeing as she's out on the sand in her pajamas, but to Fuuko the timing couldn't have been better. Right now, sitting on the shore, are three starfish. What's more these three starfish are engaged in an incredibly polite conversation with each other...]

I say, the water over here is most divine, don't you agree?

Oh my, heavens no! The water over that way is much better, far warmer.

Which way? I can't tell where you're pointing!

This way, see, in the direction of those particularly lovely looking rocks. Can't you see my arm?

[About water. And rocks. Clearly these starfish are at the height of a perfect conversation. Fuuko isn't too bothered about what it is they're talking about however, she's more interested in the fact there are talking starfish right in front of her.]

Hwaaaaah~! The starfish are so adorable! Those cute little guys, just look at all the starfish! Eheeeh~!

[Whilst Fuuko zones out the starfish decide to stand up and hop off along the beach. Too bad Fuuko missed the chance to see walking, talking starfish.

Whilst Fuuko goes on and on in her trance about the starfish little does she know her journal is capturing everything she says. What's more the journal might make it seem like Fuuko isn't talking about starfish at all but something much worse, or weirder, or anything!]

(Pick a word, any word, to replace 'starfish' with in Fuuko's replies. Have fun embarrassing and freaking the poor girl out by asking her why she thinks the Malnosso are so adorable, or certain people, items, anything you like. For example if you picked 'bear' then Fuuko's message will come out as 'The bears are so adorable!' and so on with all other replies she makes to your character about the starfish. Watch out though as Fuuko will hear the same word you picked whenever your character says 'starfish' too.)

[ She notices how starfish is replaced with Cthulhu, so, she decides to start mentally swapping it. ]

Yeah. I've been hearing the word Cthulhu instead of the word starfish. I think my ears are perfectly fine. It'd be a far fetched to think I misheard words as distant as starfish and Cthulhu.

[ Tenten will just...... gently steer her in the direction she's supposed to go.

CAN'T WAIT EITHER. She's still going to shrug her off as a kid. Sorry, Fuuko!! She just... doesn't think you're anything like a strong and capable adult!! But, her standards are weird anyways. Guy-sensei is somehow an adult! ]

[But what could have gone wrong? It's not like there's anyone who could screw around with how someone hears things or how the journals work around here- ... Malnossooo.]

Fuuko suddenly understands everything! All this time Fuuko has been worrying about the starfish and Cthulhu must be because of something the Malnosso have done. This is the absolute worst!

[Awful. Just awful. Time to think happy thoughts. Starfish thoughts.

Just wait until you taste her Starfish Heat! Then we'll see who thinks who is strong and capable! ... It won't be Fuuko.]

And so we have arrived to the same conclusion. [ Took you long enough, Fuuko!!! Tenten sighs. She didn't think she'd have to wait this long. Even if people can't be as intelligent as the ninja who received a lot of education. ] So, I just have to mentally replace Cthulhu with Starfish and we'll be able to communicate as normal, right?

Fuuko would appreciate it if everything you have heard Fuuko saying about Cthulhu could be forgotten and instead replaced by nice things said about the starfish.

Considering how I don't know what a Cthulhu is, I think I can definitely do this. Why do you like starfish so much, anyways? There's nothing really special about them from what I see. [ uh oh those be fighting words.... ]

[Wow. Wooow. Now she'll have to educate your ass about the starfish. You brought this upon yourself.] The starfish are very special! Did you know that if a starfish loses one of its limbs that it can grow it back? Sometimes the lost limb will even grow into another starfish!

[...She might have picked this up out of a book or heard it from Kotomi. But hey, it still proves starfish are special!]

I am SO sorry. Real life just hurricaned for like, a week.

[ Tenten: the dunce of all animals of the sea! She thinks Tuna is just chicken with gills. ] Wow! It can regenerate and grow whatever severs into another being? [ This already sounds interesting! ] That's amazing. Medic-nins all over the world have been struggling to figure this out! [ too bad she doesn't know Tsunade already mastered the way. ]

It is, the starfish are truly amazing. Fuuko has not yet found another sea creature that is quite as amazing or as adorable as the starfish are. [They're just that awesome.]

Whilst Fuuko is pleased that you too realise the starfish are amazing, please tell Fuuko what a Magic-nin is.

What about dolphins? They seem pretty cool! I mean, they defend from sharks which are usually defined as the killers of the sea. [ And she hates sharks! ]

A Medic-nin is someone that heals injuries other ninja receive in battle, or from minor afflictions like stepping on a nail or something. [ ...Ahah.a... her definition ... of a minor affliction.... ]

Fuuko does not know as much about dolphins or sharks as Fuuko does about the starfish. Sharks are kind of cool and dolphins appear to be quite cute, but Fuuko has always thought the killer of the sea would be a killer whale. [She'll have to get back to Kotomi to ask her about sea killers.]

So they are like normal medics, only nin-- [That sounds awful?! ... AND NOW SHE'S THINKING ABOUT IT EWW. OW. BUT EWW.] That sounds very horrible! Fuuko would never expect a ninja to step on a nail, but just thinking about someone doing that is making Fuuko's foot start to hurt!

I know that sharks can go into a feeding frenzy and that they're pretty vicious and have little regard for lives of other people... [ GOD DAMN IT KISAME. Why are you impacting her mind and views on nature. ] Dolphins are cute but they're really smart. They avoid poison spikes by using sponges to uncover them, so that's pretty smart! The killer of the sea is definitely the shark, they kill everything. Killer Whales kill a little less. [ citation needed. ]

Well, some ninja leave spikes on various places so other ninjas get injured so they can be taken down quickly. It probably does hurt, but most ninja are a little cautious for themselves - and others - so they don't get hurt. Don't worry, Fuuko. You won't ever step on a nail. [ she hopes. ]
