[So far with the way things are around the village at the moment, Fuuko has been doing a pretty good job of avoiding all the weird and wonderful things that have been popping up, save for someone creeping into her bedroom and getting into bed with her during the night but it could always be worse. And oh boy is it about to get worse.

Having gotten out of bed and stepped out of her bedroom, Fuuko has found herself transported to the beach along with her journal. An annoyance to some, sure, seeing as she's out on the sand in her pajamas, but to Fuuko the timing couldn't have been better. Right now, sitting on the shore, are three starfish. What's more these three starfish are engaged in an incredibly polite conversation with each other...]

I say, the water over here is most divine, don't you agree?

Oh my, heavens no! The water over that way is much better, far warmer.

Which way? I can't tell where you're pointing!

This way, see, in the direction of those particularly lovely looking rocks. Can't you see my arm?

You have five arms you blithering idiot!

[About water. And rocks. Clearly these starfish are at the height of a perfect conversation. Fuuko isn't too bothered about what it is they're talking about however, she's more interested in the fact there are talking starfish right in front of her.]

Hwaaaaah~! The starfish are so adorable! Those cute little guys, just look at all the starfish! Eheeeh~!

[Whilst Fuuko zones out the starfish decide to stand up and hop off along the beach. Too bad Fuuko missed the chance to see walking, talking starfish.

Whilst Fuuko goes on and on in her trance about the starfish little does she know her journal is capturing everything she says. What's more the journal might make it seem like Fuuko isn't talking about starfish at all but something much worse, or weirder, or anything!]

(Pick a word, any word, to replace 'starfish' with in Fuuko's replies. Have fun embarrassing and freaking the poor girl out by asking her why she thinks the Malnosso are so adorable, or certain people, items, anything you like. For example if you picked 'bear' then Fuuko's message will come out as 'The bears are so adorable!' and so on with all other replies she makes to your character about the starfish. Watch out though as Fuuko will hear the same word you picked whenever your character says 'starfish' too.)

They do! In fact Fuuko saw them talking just a short while ago, discussing the water and the rocks and whatever else it is the starfish must talk about.

[If it weren't for her phasing out then she would have been all ears for the rest of their little starfish conversation.]

Wow... They seem really friendly, when you say it like that...

The starfish are always friendly! Fuuko has yet to have found a starfish that is anything but friendly. Don't tell Fuuko you thought the starfish might be mean to, that would be awful!

But they were! They tried to hurt everyone on a spaceship, once! It was pretty scary.

W-What, they did!? [... Hahaha. No no no. That can't be right.] Fuuko doesn't even know where the starfish might find a spaceship in the first place. This was some sort of experiment, right? That's the only explanation Fuuko can think of for the starfish being scary and having a spaceship!

No, no! It's really true! They wanted to take over our spaceship, and we had to fight them away!

They even could breathe in space!

[Oh gosh. Space starfish sound incredibly cute and all, perhaps even more so than flying starfish, but if they had to be fought off then does that mean they were attacking people?! She can't take this. It's too much.]

You had a fight with the starfish?! Please try not to fight them anymore, even if you're ever in space again. Whilst they might have wanted your spaceship Fuuko is sure they had only the best of intentions! Though not even Fuuko knew the starfish could breathe up there...

It can be a good thing! Since the starfish had the best of intentions then that would mean they were acting with only the best thoughts in mind! If some weird guy has bed intentions though then that means something very horrible might happen.

... Okay....

Then the aliens have the best thoughts.

Yes, that's right-- [Wait, no, what?] Aliens?

[Did she not explain something well enough? W-Where did she get aliens from!?]

Why are you talking about aliens all of a sudden? Fuuko is sorry if Fuuko didn't say it before, but Fuuko is talking about the starfish right now and is pretty certain that Fuuko has been talking about them all this time.

But--but--

You're saying aliens... I promise I'm not lying! Pinky promise!

[THIS IS FRUSTRATING MY LITTLE MIND IS SHRIVELING HERE]

[B-But she isn't saying aliens! This adorable little girl is saying she is, but she isn't, but... Ah! Aaah!! What is she meant to say?!]

Maybe Fuuko did mention something about the aliens without realising it? ... Bot that's not possible, Fuuko would never confuse the starfish with some little green men from another planet! The day Fuuko mixes the starfish up with anything would be the absolute worst day ever!

Maybe it's because things are weird lately! Maybe it's the journal being funny!

[Seeing as Minato just showed up in her room the other day and now she's been transported to the beach for seemingly no reason. Yeaaah, she can believe that.]

That must be it! Fuuko is very sorry, from now on if you hear Fuuko talking about aliens please assume Fuuko is really talking about the adorable starfish on the shore!
