[The bright sun, blue sky, even the odd cloud dotted here and there. Whoever is holding the journal is doing a pretty good job of capturing the good weather right now.]

After all the rain and wind last week it's this sort of sunshine that really makes Fuuko think of summer.

[The journal soon pulls back to show that the sky is being recorded through a massive hole in the roof of one of house 26's upstairs bedrooms.]

However Fuuko really does not want to enjoy summer whilst still being inside like this! Most of the water has dried away or has been mopped up but this thing is still here! Even if Fuuko was low on money and couldn't afford AC this would be a very extreme solution. And even then money isn't a problem so why is this hole still here?!

[Normally these things see to themselves, but nope. Still a hole. The bedroom is still a complete wreck too, with debris and bits of glass and the door frame scattered about all over.]

If anyone knows anything about fixing things like this then Fuuko would appreciate a little of your time. Fuuko will even prepare something to give to your for your trouble, something very delicious!

[Oh, and quickly adding in at the end--]

Also, Fuuko hopes everyone who went into space returned home safely! If you all want something delicious too then please come to house 26, there's going to be more than enough for anyone who wants some. Fuuko will make sure of that!

[The 'something very delicious' Fuuko was referring to is starfish shaped bread. Giant loaves of it. There's only so much of the stuff she can make before she needs more ingredients though so she's out around the village to pick up some more.

... But she couldn't just leave all the bread she had recently baked alone in the house. Even if Kotomi and Nagisa are there who knows what could come through that hole in the roof! As such, Fuuko is carrying a bag of freshly baked starfish bread around with her. Don't you just love the smell of bread that's just come out of the oven? It's still a little warm too!]

So you expected Fuuko to find and bring you the tarps all along. Fuuko understands! Don't worry Emil-san, Fuuko will find the best tarps Fuuko can carry and come over right away!

[Closing her journal, finding whatever tarp-looking things she can find in the item shop, finding her way to Emil's house and knocking on the door sometime later!]

[Oh well. He can't even be surprised by Fuuko anymore WHEN DID HIS LIFE GET THIS WEIRD. He'll be answering the door when she knocks, at least! And probably wondering what other strange things besides tarps she's probably brought with her.]

Oh, hi Fuuko! Do you have the tarps with you?

There were starfish patterns on this one, Fuuko had to have it! Please understand why Fuuko picked this specific tarp Emil-san, Fuuko loves the starfish very much.

[You know. Just in case in a little under a year Emil hasn't realised that Fuuko likes the starfish.]

Fuuko also has some other tarps too, but this one is definitely the best one out of all the other tarps there.

[At some point she stops obsessing over the pattern and waves in greeting. Sup.]

Yeah, I think I remember you mentioning you liked starfish before...

But if you like that one the most, I could probably put it in the middle so that it would be the one you see first when you look up at the hole.

That's good! Fuuko would feel terrible if at some point Fuuko had not mentioned it before!

Thank you for being so considerate about the starfish and how Fuuko feels about them, having it in the middle would make Fuuko very happy.

It'll be kind of like a starry sky, only with starfish instead of stars.

That's right, a starfish sky. That way all the people who mistake the starfish for just stars can come see the tarp and realise that starfish can be in the sky too.

But wouldn't it be best to get that hole fixed as soon as you can? I mean, the tarps are just supposed to cover the hole until it gets patched up. It's not supposed to be something permanent.

Of course, Fuuko understands! The tarp will only be there for as long as it takes for the hole to fix itself. Once the hole is gone however Fuuko will be keeping the starfish tarp for any future emergencies!

That's probably a good idea, just in case. You never know when you might need a tarp for something, especially around here. And besides, you can always use it as a picnic blanket later if you want.

Those are all good reasons for keeping it around for later! [...] Plus the little guys look so adorable, it's not like Fuuko could ever just fold it up and forget about it or throw it away without feeling bad!

It is! Emil-san, that's exactly what this tarp is!

[She quickly sets down the other tarps and unfolds the one with star patterns on it so she can get a proper look at it.

... Before long she's rubbing her cheek against it and making random noises about the starfish.]

Hwaaaaaaaaaaah~ So cute~

[Oh Fuuko. Emil is just going to... watch this, a little bit unsure as to how to respond. Well, at least she's happy?]

Yeah, cute... ahaha...

[Yup, cute. Very cute. So cute she's currently traveling through a beach full of starfish all dancing and making sandcastles. In her mind.

After a minute of standing there and being off in her little starfish world, Fuuko pops back to reality.]

Oh, Fuuko is still here. Is the tarp done yet?

[And people call HIM a space cadet sometimes. He's got nothing on Fuuko, man.]

Um, I haven't even started on it yet. Why don't you go back home and I'll call you over the journals when it's ready? That way you don't have to stand around here waiting for me.

Okay, if you say so Emil-san! [You're the master seamstress after all.] Fuuko wouldn't want to get in the way of your work, especially if Fuuko was leaning over your shoulder to see how you deal with the starfish tarp! Please take extra good care of it, thank you.

[She steps inside briefly to leave the collection of tarps and materials on the floor before stepping back and bowing her head. Thanks man.]

Don't worry, I'll make sure nothing happens to it while I'm sewing. I'll be extra-careful with it just to be safe.

It's that sort of care that reassures Fuuko that leaving a rare tarp like this with you was the right thing to do.

O-oh, um, thanks... I think.

[Yeah, you better think. She doesn't want some guy who doesn't think messing up her tarp.

Welp, it's all in your hands now Emil. Fuuko turns and walks off after waving and throwing out another quick 'thank you'. Do the starfish proud with those sewing skills of yours!]
