[The bright sun, blue sky, even the odd cloud dotted here and there. Whoever is holding the journal is doing a pretty good job of capturing the good weather right now.]
After all the rain and wind last week it's this sort of sunshine that really makes Fuuko think of summer.
[The journal soon pulls back to show that the sky is being recorded through a massive hole in the roof of one of house 26's upstairs bedrooms.]
However Fuuko really does not want to enjoy summer whilst still being inside like this! Most of the water has dried away or has been mopped up but this thing is still here! Even if Fuuko was low on money and couldn't afford AC this would be a very extreme solution. And even then money isn't a problem so why is this hole still here?!
[Normally these things see to themselves, but nope. Still a hole. The bedroom is still a complete wreck too, with debris and bits of glass and the door frame scattered about all over.]
If anyone knows anything about fixing things like this then Fuuko would appreciate a little of your time. Fuuko will even prepare something to give to your for your trouble, something very delicious!
[Oh, and quickly adding in at the end--]
Also, Fuuko hopes everyone who went into space returned home safely! If you all want something delicious too then please come to house 26, there's going to be more than enough for anyone who wants some. Fuuko will make sure of that!
[Action]
[The 'something very delicious' Fuuko was referring to is starfish shaped bread. Giant loaves of it. There's only so much of the stuff she can make before she needs more ingredients though so she's out around the village to pick up some more.
... But she couldn't just leave all the bread she had recently baked alone in the house. Even if Kotomi and Nagisa are there who knows what could come through that hole in the roof! As such, Fuuko is carrying a bag of freshly baked starfish bread around with her. Don't you just love the smell of bread that's just come out of the oven? It's still a little warm too!]

But... it depends on how bad the damage is. If the roof as a whole got hit too hard, we might have to think of other options.
[Waiting for a shift, making a temporary patch, or having to start anew with it.]
Hopefully Fuuko is right in guessing instacrete is like concrete, only it is much faster and could win in a race against normal concrete.
[That makes sense. Since Fuuko isn't too knowledgeable about structural terms and she probably couldn't do a much better job of describing the hole past 'there's a big hole' she instead takes the journal, makes sure the video is on and tries to record of much of the hole as she can.]
Does it look really bad? Fuuko only thinks it looks terrible because it's not everyday Fuuko has to deal with holes like this!
[The hole seems to be mostly confined to the corner of the room with the surrounding walls still intact for the most part, save for some cracks and chipped brickwork. The hole itself is large enough to bathe the entire room in sun light, with support beams and roof tiles sloping down slightly to where the hole is.]
[Her task is usually putting holes in things -- not mending them.
Setting a look on the roof... The walls look good enough, but the beams and roof tiles may present a trouble.]
Do you know if there's a shift in place in your house? If not... We could try getting an alchemist to help mending up the beams. One helped me with my armor once.
Fuuko doesn't think there is, there's nothing different here that would make Fuuko think there's something like a shift.
[Though admittedly she wouldn't know how to tell if there was or there wasn't. Past the roof fixing itself anyway.]
What's an alchemist, don't they use chemicals meaning they aren't very good at repairing things like this?
[Maybe she's getting mixed up with chemists.]
Not the ones in here. One of them, Edward Elric, helped me fix my armor when it took a lot of damage. Since mine is a lot more complex than concrete and iron beams, maybe he could help us.
... The wood we can use now is abundant, anyway.
What do you mean by that second thing though Daisy-san? Did there never used to be so many trees around for repairing things like there are now?
Fuuko will start clapping lightly at that.]
Well done Daisy-san. It won't mean much coming from Fuuko but it must have taken you a lot of hard work and planning to drop a tree on top of a bunch of droids!
[Whilst she does want to lend a hand she might not be all that helpful when it comes to moving whole trees.]
[She draws a smile in front of her visor.]
You're free to watch.
[Since going out of her way to move a whole bunch of trees is definitely worthy of a thank you loaf of bread.]
[Or too much of the food.]
[With her journal still open and in her arms she heads downstairs to the kitchen to get to work on finishing up that bread.]
