[The bright sun, blue sky, even the odd cloud dotted here and there. Whoever is holding the journal is doing a pretty good job of capturing the good weather right now.]

After all the rain and wind last week it's this sort of sunshine that really makes Fuuko think of summer.

[The journal soon pulls back to show that the sky is being recorded through a massive hole in the roof of one of house 26's upstairs bedrooms.]

However Fuuko really does not want to enjoy summer whilst still being inside like this! Most of the water has dried away or has been mopped up but this thing is still here! Even if Fuuko was low on money and couldn't afford AC this would be a very extreme solution. And even then money isn't a problem so why is this hole still here?!

[Normally these things see to themselves, but nope. Still a hole. The bedroom is still a complete wreck too, with debris and bits of glass and the door frame scattered about all over.]

If anyone knows anything about fixing things like this then Fuuko would appreciate a little of your time. Fuuko will even prepare something to give to your for your trouble, something very delicious!

[Oh, and quickly adding in at the end--]

Also, Fuuko hopes everyone who went into space returned home safely! If you all want something delicious too then please come to house 26, there's going to be more than enough for anyone who wants some. Fuuko will make sure of that!

[Action]

[The 'something very delicious' Fuuko was referring to is starfish shaped bread. Giant loaves of it. There's only so much of the stuff she can make before she needs more ingredients though so she's out around the village to pick up some more.

... But she couldn't just leave all the bread she had recently baked alone in the house. Even if Kotomi and Nagisa are there who knows what could come through that hole in the roof! As such, Fuuko is carrying a bag of freshly baked starfish bread around with her. Don't you just love the smell of bread that's just come out of the oven? It's still a little warm too!]

It seems more like you're just wild and you have trouble understanding how much Fuuko dislikes those things! Please don't do them more, they don't make Fuuko any happier, not even a little bit!

[Backing away further, towards the damaged wall behind her and the door. Sob.]

[And in saying this Fuuko totally jinxes herself and ends up tripping on a tile that had fallen from the roof.]

[She could've crashed and hit her head, but N O P E. Arata will catch her in his arms and pull her up.]

Oh? I wouldn't be so sure about that. I would say you would be more safer in my arms than leaving you to yourself.

Y-Yes, well-- This has never happened to Fuuko before!

[The tripping, falling and being saved. It's all very new. There's a pause where Fuuko takes in the current situation before she pushes Arata away.]

Thank you for saving Fuuko but that was just an accident. Fuuko will be sure not to let it ever happen again.

[Lets himself be pushed away, but just lets out a mere chuckle.]

Hmhm... Be careful, Fuuko. If you keep saying things like that, I might seriously end up saving your life someday.

[... That's true, she did end up backing herself into that last fall.]

Don't worry, Fuuko will be trying extra hard from this point on not to fall into any sort of danger. [...] And that definitely hasn't made it more likely that you will save Fuuko just because Fuuko addressed it like this!

It's practically foreshadowing! When a girl says something like this... It's the flag trigger for later on when the hero steps in to save her. That's elementary manga build-up right there.

This is nothing like a manga though so why are you bringing this up?! Just because Fuuko says something like the starfish are going to take off and fly to the stars does not mean it will happen! [Sadly.]

Whilst Fuuko might have one day been amazed by this, Fuuko has already seen Draco-san do something similar with magic and starfish. It was something that Fuuko will never forget! [...] Fuuko had no idea you were a magician too, Fuuko thought you were just another weird guy.

[Making a new world had happened once... Although, it wasn't on the best of graces.]

Becoming a magician means going down the path that has the least common sense. Besides, I ended up making a world this one time... Although, I don't really know how I did it. It just happened when I made a wish on my Grimoire.

So to get to the starfish dimension does Fuuko have to abandon common sense? How horrible! Is it possible for Fuuko to visit the starfish dimension without having to become a magician or wish on a grimoire?!

There's always making a contract with a creepy alien rabbit if you're into that kind of thing.

Why isn't there something simpler like Fuuko clicking Fuuko's heels together three times or something like that...

Heh heh! You're seriously pumped about this, huh? Like I said before... Magic is all about move away from common sense and doing the impossible.

It's this or you can go the beach and check out the starfish over there. That's as closest as a 'dimension' as you're going to get if you want to go the normal route.

This isn't fair! Why does Fuuko have to go down the weird route to reach something very cute and adorable at the end?!

It wouldn't be half as exciting if your journey didn't have some weird things happening all around you. [STROKING HIS CHIN.]

Believe me, I've seen my fair share of weird things and I'm handling it fine.
