★4th Star☆ [Video]
[It had taken her some time, a little heavy lifting and an awful lot of reading up on taking care of fish and sea life in the library, but it's finished. Room twelve in community building three now has a fully functioning fish tank! There's a hanging filter happily bubbling away into the water of the pretty bare looking tank. Fuuko had wanted to go down to the beach and find a few shells and what not but it's really cold, so for now the tank only has some gravel along the bottom and a rock or two in it.
As the journal comes into focus it's possible to notice something in the tank past the gravel and rocks. In fact if you can't notice it you must need your eyesight checked as Fuuko currently has the journal pushed right up against the glass of the tank.
The most adorable of adorable starfish is inside, laying on top of one of the rocks. Yes, a real live starfish. Fuuko couldn't believe it either. A real live starfish! It needs repeating, okay, it's a real a starfish. REAL. Many a trance came and went when she first unwrapped the jar containing the little guy.
Having kept the journal on for a minute or so in silence whilst she shows off her new pet, Fuuko speaks up.]
Fuuko cannot thank whoever gave Fuuko such a gift this Christmas time enough! Had Fuuko been able to find a tank and supplies sooner then rest assured, Fuuko would have thanked whoever-you-are long ago!
[Turning the journal towards her face which has a giant smile plastered all over it, because hey, guess what guys, it's a real starfish. And it's her pet! Aaah!]
Fuuko has even decided to keep the jar that-- Oh, Fuuko still needs to think of a name... But Fuuko is keeping the jar he came in as a memento of this wonderful present even in his nameless state! [Giving the journal a wave she starts closing the journal-- But wait, ooone more thing.] Fuuko almost forgot to mention the Starfish Festival seeing as all Fuuko can think of right now is this cute little guy. It'll probably be in April sometime, though there's no definite date yet. Just letting you all know!

[Speaking of taking good care of it...] This particular starfish actually feeds on coral, but Fuuko can't go to the beach at this time of year to find any. In the mean time Fuuko is feeding it with food flakes and nutrients given to it through one of these things. [Holding one of 'those things' up to the journal.]

Um, if you need coral in the summer.. Maybe we could go to the beach together sometime to get some, if you want?

Fuuko would like that a lot seeing as Fuuko was planning to go anyway to find some. Having you come along too would make it more fun, Madoka-san!

Then I'll gladly come along! I want your starfish to be happy too, after all, and it'll be fun to just go together and talk a little as we do it, I'm sure.

Mm, it's always nice to talk with you when we meet up Madoka-san. Then again Fuuko enjoys talking to all of Fuuko's friends. [...] If you're not busy would you like to come say hello? We can chat and talk about the starfish in person!

Ah.. you mean right now? [ for a moment she pauses, wondering if it's okay, but.. ]
... Hmm, that's fine! I'm not really doing anything right now, so if you want me to come over, it would be rude for me to refuse, ehehe.

Yes, right now, at this very moment! [nod nod nod do it madoka do it--]
Fuuko definitely wants you to come over!! Do you remember where Fuuko lives?

Yes! I went to the party a little while ago, so I think I still remember. [ she nods, smiling a little. ]
Just wait for a little bit, okay, Fuuko-chan? I'll try my best!

Fuuko will be waiting for your arrival Madoka-san, have a safe trip coming over!
[Aaand closing the journal here.]

Closing the journal too and OKAY LET'S HURRY since making her wait would be rude and Madoka would hate to be rude, obviously. So she'll quickly be telling Homura she's going out and theeen she's off to where Fuuko lives.
... Knocking on the door now.. politely.. ]
[ action ]
Opening the door soon after Fuuko hears the knock. She didn't have to wait long at all, good job Madoka, A+.
Moving out the way and holding the door for Madoka so she can actually come inside.]
Madoka-san, you came over very quickly. Thank you for coming!
[ action ]
Hmm, no, thank you for inviting me! And I'm glad I'm on time.. [ stepping inside now.. ] Ah, right! Now I could see your starfish, right, Fuuko-chan?
[ action ]
Of course! The tank is next to the door to Fuuko's room, just over there.
[Motioning further into the apartment whilst she closes the door.]
[ action ]
but okay, Fuuko, let's do this!! Madoka will just nod and obediently follow the other girl around.. a little quietly since she doesn't know if it's okay to make a lot of noise around starfish, just like with sick people and all. ]
[ action ]
Behold, the starfish! [Posing in front of the tank. LOOK AT THAT STARFISH.] Isn't it just adorable?!
[ action ]
Uwah, it really is a real starfish..! [ totally gasping at the tank here, starfish are so cool!! ] I guess.. it's somewhat cute, hmm. [ nodnod. ]

...Somewhat? Guuurl who you tryin' ta fool, that starfish is adorbs.]
It's very cute, amongst one of the cutest starfish Fuuko has had the pleasure of gazing upon! Everything about it is cute. The markings, the way it feels to touch... Even the way it slowly moves around the tank!

Then how many starfish have you seen already, Fuuko-chan? It must have been a lot, with how much you like them, right..?
[ although.. a cute way of moving around, she has to see that!! so cue madoka looming over the tank to stare.. ]

Fuuko has seen many, many starfish! Azusa-san was kind enough to show Fuuko some of the starfish at the beach once, and they were all quite adorable.
[You'll have a heck of a long time to wait Madoka, the starfish doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Or... It might be. Just very slowly.]
[ action ]
Oh, do they live here at the beach too? I didn't even know, since I haven't gone starfish watching before yet back home either.. [ she's speaking while watching the starfish, because she's not sure if it's moving reaaally slowly so she doesn't want to look away.. maybe it's tricking her.. ] It must be a lot of fun.

They do! Fuuko can't wait until the summer when we can all go on a beach trip together and stare lovingly at the starfish. [The starfish just ran a lap around the tank. It's so fast that it didn't even seem to move at all the entire time!] Looking for and finding starfish is a lot of fun. Think of it like a scavenger hunt, only you're finding starfish!

Starfish would be pretty hard to find.. since maybe they would hide in the water, or try to pretend to look like something else, like.. [ oh, wait, this one is hard, what would a starfish look like? ] ... um, a banana peel, maybe?
[ action ]
Some starfish can camouflage themselves and change colour to match their surroundings, like chameleons! Plus they can fit into tight spaces-- [wait what a banana peel? uhm] ...That might be possible, though Fuuko has yet to meet a bright yellow starfish which has tried to look like a banana peel.
[ action ]
Well, you probably wouldn't be able to meet one, since they're so good at hiding.. [ EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT BANANA PEELS IS A LIE. ] But really, they can camouflage themselves? I didn't know that at all.

But you would think that spotting a banana peel wouldn't be that difficult. Like Fuuko said, it would be bright yellow. Unless it was a mouldy banana peel. [GASP NO IT CAN'T BE.] Fuuko didn't know either until visiting the library and reading more about the starfish. They're much more wonderful than Fuuko could ever have thought.
