[Fuuko is making a trip to the item shop today to look for a certain something. It wasn't here when she arrived, and honestly it's been bugging her for some time now. Having her little bag of starfish is all fine and dandy, but there's something else that would make everything just perfect. So here she is, rummaging away... Rummaging... Rummaging--

Oh. It's here. How long has it been here for? She doesn't know. She might well have missed it when she first came here and looked for her starfish. But that doesn't matter now. Fuuko has her party hat. Everything is now amazing.

Fuuko will then spend the rest of her morning out by the fountain in the plaza, carving more starfish. On one side of her is a few blocks of wood, on the other side are one or two completed stars and on her head is a green and orange striped party hat with a white bobble on the end. Her expression during this is nothing short of pretty damn happy.]

[Voice]

Fuuko has a question for everyone! [If you think she's going to ask about starfish then you're wrong. She's realised not everyone understands the appeal of the starfish and is instead taking a more roundabout approach to things.] What do you think about festivals? Fuuko would like to hold a festival someday. As such, Fuuko would like to hear about your festival experiences!

Also! If you received a starfish from Fuuko during that weird experiment then you better take really good care of it, ok?! The starfish deserve good homes!! [And it all comes back to starfish in the end anyway. Good job Fuuko.]

What sort of things did you do at the last festival you went to then? Were there stalls and games and all sorts of things?

Games, snacks, and stalls, for one. The festival from a few months back had all kinds of attractions.

I ran the ice cream stand.

Fuuko has games and snacks all covered! More or less anyway. A few more games wouldn't be a bad idea.

Would you be interested in running a stand for Fuuko's festival? It can be an ice cream stand if you like Ven-san!

Mostly just different types of ice cream and toppings. Cones, maybe some bowls. Sprinkles and syrups... Hey, maybe we could look for star-shaped sprinkles! That'd fit the theme.

Fuuko can find all that for you! [Or at least she thinks she can anyway.] You can find all of those things at the item shop, right? Fuuko has found lots of things there before, so bowls must be there too!

[Star-shaped sprinkles?] Great idea, the best choice Ven-san!! Fuuko's heart jumps at the idea of encountering ice cream covered with star shaped sprinkles!

General store should have plenty of ingredients. That's where all the food is!

[So maybe there's sprinkles in the candy section... hrmmm.]

But if it makes you happy, I'll definitely put 'em on.

Fuuko will pay the general store a visit closer to the time and acquire all the ingredients! [ALL OF THEM.]

It makes Fuuko very happy! Star-shaped sprinkles are such a simple idea, so much so that Fuuko is almost jealous for not having thought of it first! [Said in a completely good-natured way however. Not really jealous bro.]

We don't have to stop at just sprinkles, though. We could get some starfruit, too! Bet it'd go really good on some ice cream.

[So sweet and juicy, do want.]

[Fuuko has definitely heard of starfruit before. I mean, come on, it's star related. But it's not something she has ever seen. This idea is now even better.]

Would the general store here carry starfruit?! Fuuko isn't sure whether the shops back home ever had any in stock!

Sure does! How else could Minako get it? I bet they've got a whole bunch.

Fuuko has never tried starfruit before, so Fuuko will be looking forward to the day of the festival even more now.

We'll make it the best festival this place has ever seen! Something people will definitely remember.

Mmhm! The best ever! People will be talking about it for months afterwards!! If it's a really big hit then maybe Fuuko could turn it into an annual event.

I'm sure they won't, Fuuko. Stuff like parties and festival really help bring people together, especially in a place like this.

So it will be remembered and never forgotten? Fuuko is very glad to hear that! If Fuuko can throw a festival for the starfish and bring people together for something they'll always remember then Fuuko will feel as though it was a job well done.

It might take some work, but I'm sure there's tons of people around the village who'd be willing to lend a hand.

Fuuko wants to meet them all then! All the people who would like to help. Then Fuuko can have as much fun setting the festival up as Fuuko can taking part in the festival!!

You're off to a great start by using the journals. Maybe setting up some posters could help get the word out, too.
