Beauty and the Beast AU Info

Notes and details for this little event right over here.

- Fuuko will have been born into servitude, her mother and father both working for Prince Adam at the time of her birth. Her mother worked closely with Mrs.Potts as a maid whilst her father worked the furnace below the castle.

- As she grew, Fuuko would have eventually started working herself. At first her duties would involve changing bed sheets and dusting but eventually she would be old enough to work directly with Prince Adam, bringing him tea and ensuring he was kept content along with the rest of the staff.

- She would be quite vocal about how Adam treated the staff and her parents, complaining about how wrong it is and describing his actions as 'very horrible'. This would only occur behind the prince's back and she would put on the same act the rest of the inhabitants would do when meeting with the Prince.

- Fuuko was 17 at the time the enchantress visited the castle and cursed its inhabitants. Upon being cursed, Fuuko was turned into a teacup.
-- Though there is a gap of ten years between the Enchantress cursing the castle and Belle first arriving it seems none of the staff age in this time, most notably Chip who would be in his teens come Belle's arrival. As such Fuuko would remain the same age. Disney magic or something.

- Along with the rest of the castle she would continue to do her best in serving the master, now a beast, through serving tea and checking up on him.

- Once Belle comes to the castle, Fuuko would play a similar role to Lumiere, Cogsworth and Mrs.Potts, making sure Belle is happy in the castle and helping her see a kinder side to the Beast.

- By frequently talking to Belle and the Beast, Fuuko would tell them both about how the other feels and thinks about them, trying to encourage the two to become closer and maybe fall in love.

Fuuko and Fuu-cup

- Fuuko no longer has an obsession with the starfish and instead knows very little about life outside of the castle having been born there and only ever adventuring out into the grounds and no further. Instead she does seem pretty attracted to stars in general, especially the stars that go on top of Christmas trees. Angelique tended to insist on an angel being placed on top of the tree instead of a star however so the two are on poor terms.

- No more suffixes! Monsieur and mademoiselle are instead used when speaking to anyone older or in a position of power. The Beast/Prince Adam is refered to as 'the Master'. Fuuko still speaks in third person, but will talk properly when in conversation with Beast despite how much she dislikes using I, I'm, etc.

- Her baking and tea brewing skills are excellent, even without arms and legs to properly work the utensils and mix together ingredients. Most of the utensils back home were cursed castle staff so she may have some trouble working with normal equipment.

- God forbid any stranger try picking her up. She's very aware of her new form as a teacup and just how delicate she is and as such insists on walking/hopping along by herself unless it's necessary that she be carried or picked up. (Such as reaching a high up counter top.)

- Whatever that 'something' is that wasn't there before it better be love and nothing weird or strange...

- Rather than smacking people with starfish carvings and freaking out at anyone acting 'weird' she will instead try pouring hot tea on them. Her definition of 'weird' is people who might try drinking from her without permission as opposed to people bringing up subjects like love, dates, etc relating to her.

- When addressing others she will be sure to try and hype up the Beast and make him seem as friendly and kind as possible if he comes up in conversation. If the Beast is nearby though she'll be keeping her mouth shut and will stick to small talk.

- With the change in the Beast's personality and him noticeably becoming kinder and opening up, Fuuko would avoid bringing up the way she, her parents and the servants in the castle used to be treated for the sake of making sure the Beast remains in a positive light.
